Okay, I've joined Pinterest and have started to set up my boards. I love the concept, but here's my question: how much of what I pin will I actually make use of? Or is that not the point?

It is fun to browse, though. And dream.

Oh I love Pinterest. I've used quite a few of the things I've pinned so far. I seem to use more of the recipes (we made one from Pinterest last night) or things that I searched for when I'm about to start a project (like the closet in the nursery).

I pin lots of "someday" things too, like activities to do with the kids at home or outfits I think are cute. I'm not sure how much use I'll get out of those things, but I like having them as a reference.

I don't view it as a "someday" tool; I use it as an organizational tool and bookmarking site. As you probably know, I am obsessed with funny cat things, and this helps me keep track of all of the funny things I've found. Before Pintrest, I was always that person with the bad Google-fu that could never find something again that I had seen a while back. Pintrest keeps everything (with a photo, anyway)!
