why settle for one when you can do both?

I'm all for running throughout pregnancy if one is able to and wants to, but this is a little crazy! My friend and I have debated whether running a marathon or giving birth is the more difficult endeavor, but I think this woman just trumped us both.

That's funny. I've been thinking about signing up for another 1/2 this spring. I've barely been running 3 miles a week, but I could do some light training this winter. We'll see.

hahahaha! now it's not enough to run a mere marathon. i'm going to have to perform open heart surgery on myself or something, too. :)

I read this earlier in the week, and you were the first person I thought of. ;-)

I'm running in my first half marathon this April. I'm still debating if I can get 13.1 miles on something besides wheels. I think that woman might be crazy. Is it safe to run for several consecutive hours when that pregnant? I thought it was great that you walked and even ran a bit on your due date, but a marathon?!

did you see the story this week about the man who finished a marathon at 100 years of age?! i'm not sure i want to live to 100, but if i do, i hope i'm still that active.

oh, and that lady, she's my hero!
